My pattern, based on the same premise as the Embroidery Library pattern, came out like this... it is so easy to make.
Hanging Towel Tutorial
What you need:
Dish towel
Coordinating fabric scrap 8 1/2" x 5"
Small scrap of interfacing 8 1/2" x 2 /12"
Thread
Scissors
Chalk
Cut fusingpin to middle of fabric
Sew 1/4" around the scalloped edge
mark, on each side, measure in 1" from edge, mark
Cut top edge of towel
Gather top edge of towel
Prepare to cut the "button-hole" with seam ripper
This is a great quick and easy homemade gift idea.

Connie- Thanks for stopping by my blog & commenting on the raspberry baked oatmeal- in answer to you question- it is very moist. You can crisp it up on the top if you want by cooking it a few minutes longer, but it is moist insode like a muffin.

Thanks for the cute pattern which I made for my "niece" (bestie's daughter) along with a crocheted washcloth and apron for her bridal shower. She loved the towel! Thanks for following me back as I don't have a following yet. I am not that blog savvy so I don't know how to attract followers. ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty looking tea towel and I love how it loops over like that. Quite often my tea towel is on the floor right in front of the stove and I have to pick it up and drape it back over. Your tea towel is the perfect solution! I've got his linked to my tea towels post too today, for DIY ideas!
